Everything started in 1872 when Gottfried Schenker was introduced to Moritz Karpeles and Moritz Hirsch, both in their 30s and owners of a freight forwarding company. They were impressed by Schenker's plans for expanding the international forwarding business into southeastern and western Europe and for moving into sea transport via Trieste and Fiume.

In collaboration, Schenker & Co. was founded on July 1, 1872 with the Commercial Court in Vienna. Through continnous growth in the meantime did our cooperation established to one of the worldwide leading provider of integrated Logistics

So did we conduct with the foundation in Luxembourg on 13.12.1989 to this increase. Starting as customs clearance office along the border in that time, an Air-Freight-Hub-System has been established in the succession years.

Since 2006 the DB Schenker Luxemburg GmbH is also providing you with additional Logistic Services such as Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Warehousemanagement, Customs Clearance Handling and Overland-Transports in cooperation with DB Schenker Trier.

By now we are offering the market in Luxembourg with almost 50 employees high-quality Logistics solutions with a special advantage of a world-wide operating DB Schenker Network and more than 2000 own Branches.
